@ProfessorBoreas Not only no but NO! We all saw how attrition worked in BF5 and I'm not a fan of how it changed the vehicle game play. In fact I'd love it if 2042 was like BC2 and BF3 if the choppers were balanced a bit better.

Not going to work. I do not want BFV 2042 anymore ...
- ragnarok0134 years agoHero+@GC_xDJ_Cas There's no indication that there is limited ammo and fuel for vehicles yet. Try the Beta before making your decision.

I tried Alpha and I like the ammo limit there. I'm just against limiting fuel or ammo and placing replenishment box as BFV had which is a catastrophe for me
- Fringerunner4 years agoSeasoned Ace@ragnarok013 In regards to helos/aircraft, couldn't agree more.
high-risk/high-reward mid-map or close support near your own base, not buzzards just picking things off to the point where half the infantry have to equip AA weapons to be able to move from objective to objective.
Not even going to comment past "wasn't it fun to spawn in a fresh round and just get bombed to oblivion within 5 seconds in your own spawn" in BF5. - 4 years ago
It's mostly due to inexperienced infantry not knowing how to combat vehicles.
- 4 years ago@infantrypeasant Ohh really, vehicles for months were allowed to move during the start. Stationary had either small range or could not be turned. Effective Infantry AA did not exist at launch.
But no, it was inexperience infantry of which the majority have been playing for year against vehicles was the problem.- 4 years ago@DingoKillr Let's be honest, the majority of the BF players are the kind of people that play maybe one time per week, don't really have time for another game and just want to have a good time.
That just won't make you a decent player that knows all the strategies to combat vehicles. Even if you're playing for years.
Sure some tweaks could be made, but something simple as using landmines is a thing I rarely see infantry do.
- OkamiToge4 years agoSeasoned Ace@infantrypeasant Lol nah, planes aren't very well balanced at all in BFV and should have had the same range as AA, a plane shouldn't have been able to hit AA before AA can even reach it and start doing damage and im not even gonna get into the overpowered rockets.
- ninjapenquinuk4 years agoSeasoned Ace@TankerFlanker AA on the Pacific maps is actually balance pretty well. A top pilot will still sometimes know all the tricks to take you out, but it's not that hard to take out many many planes with AA on those maps
