@Ironhead841I agree 100%.
Unless you're in a round where your team has multiple highly coordinated squads on comms the pilots are still able to remain airbone for a long time. I'm simply not encountering matches where Lis or Rao are having significant effect on Air than they were prior to 3.2. In fact, with the buffs to engineer repair, and people looking to obtain T1 eng class badges, I'm seeing Condors and transport heli staying up even longer than before.
High-skill pilot mains are going to be in more difficult lobbies on average too. Because they will typically have a higher skill rating. DICE has a proprietary skill rating. It is based on your percentile position in a combination of statistics such as SBM, KPM, K/D, and overall kills, score, etc. This skill rating used to be visible to players in earlier titles. SBMM is happening.
There is a lot of lobbying and attempts to control the narrative here. Hoping that DICE isn't swayed and sticks to the data.
Yeah, the reality in-game is nowhere near what a lot of these heli pilots try to claim, either that or I am the unluckiest BF player in existence as my team still seem to be getting smoked pretty regularly by aircraft, particularly by transports and stealth helis.
I would hope EA/Dice wouldn't implement SBMM without telling their player base, if that were indeed the case, I would have never bought this game.

They did tell some of their player base back in BFV. 🙂

BTW, if you are a high-skill player, and want to see SBMM happening. Find a friend who is entirely new to FPS games and group with them. *IF* your region and game mode is populous enough to have many lobbies running, you will see a very noticable difference in enemy skill.
