With all "tweaks", "nerfs" and "balance" Lis is completely useless now. TV rocket is a joke, its hard even to hit a tank. With Basco perk and Irish its pointless to try. But even if u do and hit some...

@sgtPoultonIf you can't hit a tank man. It's not rockets fault. Have you tried tv missile in bf3? And there are a lot of Lizz players that are really good with it. And desync is still big problem, which means buffing Lizz will result a lot problems like before it was buffed. I use Lizz when I fly nb and it's very easy to hit tanks. Hitting nb requires skill and getting of guard is actually the key here.
If I'm in a tank I just let the liz missiles hit then repair. By the time Liz regenerates another rocket the tank is fully repaired.
But we are talking about a game where 6 hits from a .50 cal mounted gun on a tank doesn't kill but one throwing knife does......

- @LS5_71 Lis rocket has always worked this way vs armour pre nerf post buff, and post nerf.
Post class rework a lot of engineers have now switched to Javelin, the best launcher in the game if you want to kill land vehicles on your own or finish them off.
Wipes out nearly half the health of a tank in one hit without soflam or tracer dart assistance.
But apparently the community think it's still too weak.
OP should switch to Javelin if they want to blow up vehicles every round.
Javelin > M5 > Lis- @Tank2042Man Javelin hit harder than recoils - as they should - that is the pro - but *... take long time to lock (sniper food during this) - smoke and other small stuff - breaks lock. Not always you have 50 % damage - I have tried to only get 20 % damage so depends. Javelins are for long distance shots and not close ones - way too slow for this. I always use recoils because of that.
