This happens to me on PC. I shrug and move on to the next target. You have to hit square on tho, including infantry, there is no splash damage.
Yep, still very much an issue even after the newest update. No splash damage and rockets will randomly phase through helos when they feel like it.

We all experience latency and internet connections with the game, most of it is server side and while you may not notice it, it’s happening. The network desync issues are well established by now. I have a latency of 29, consistently. The average latency of the server however can change from 30 up to as high as 44. So you may be fine, but the players you’re shooting at may not be. Unfortunately in 2042, you have zero assurance that your shots are actually hitting where you think. Often I feel a brief pause just before I die, that’s compliments of Dice’s programming where the server catches me up to the shooter (or vice versa). While it could just be and hit registration (another known thing in 2042) it’s more likely your targets are milliseconds behind or in front of where you’re shooting. It’s not you, it’s the game.
