I agree helicopters can be really anoying, but i'm not sure nerfing them is the solution we need.
The main problem we have now, is a simple and dumb fact. Helicopters and jets are in the same category... Meaning nobody use the jets, and helicopters don't see their principal counter in the sky, they are free to focus on the ground targets.
IF Dice decide to listen to the comunity... And separate the jets from the helicopters in the spawn menu to have 2 different catégories, helicopters will have a far harder time in the game.
Maybe Flying vehicules will need a little more adjustments then, but i think having jets in the sky is mandatory to have a more balanced game, before looking for more changes.
Nightbird need some love.
Maybe the guy you saw was a very good pilot and it doesn't mean Nightbird need a nerf.
Nightbird have a lot of issues:
Flairs doesn't work everytime , sometimes it seem ths heli have a glue and fly slowly suddenly, the gravity next to the ground is awfull, stingers can kill the pilot and make no damage to the heli , a stealth pilot can just destroy Nightbird with noskill with auto lock missiles the Nightbird can flip in the ground so frequently , when stealth and attack heli shooting you you can't aim anymore and fell you are inside a shaker, sometimes you just touch a wall and be destroyed., you cannot avoid to be hit sometimes with the third missiles of jets. ....
Nothing against you., but like you said you never fly in Nightbird.
