LMG No Fire Mode or Suppression After Patch 4

Before the update, activating an attachment such as bipod, light or laser will remove the fire selection icon from the UI (for some reason) but you can still change fire modes. Is it something like that or is not possible to change fire mode at all?
Seems any weapon with an under barrel attachment won't show fire mode.
@Noodlesocks I think he means, that you now can only see the firing mode setting in the weapon info in the right bottom, when you aim down sight. So it now works again as on launch. The toggle Option in the settings to always show the firing mode is no longer available. (or I am to blind to find it again).
So while not ADS you see the fireing mode at the reticle. If it looks like a "T" its single fire, and a "+" is autofire.
