Lock Specialists in Hazard Zone, restore Battlefield classes to CQ and the rest.

Please lock specialists to Hazard Zone and bring back classes in all other game modes. An operative-focused experience, such as what one can find in Rainbow 6 and Apex Legends, has no place in Battlefield. Its only purpose is to create imbalance so players are effectively required to purchase future characters and passes in order to stay competitive. Classes, along with a robust XP reward system for assistance and support actions, motivate teamwork in conquest and other . This current "specialist" system does not provide such incentive due to character abilities heavily favoring front line infantry and equipment restrictions requiring an either/or selection of tools and weapons necessary to aid others. I mean, the percentage of players willing to throw away their only equipment slot on a repair tool is practically zero.

Hazard Zone would fit a specialist system well enough, and it would make the most sense since that mode will (reportedly) have some type of narrative progression down the road. Also, Hazard zone is heavily imbalanced against those without the skill, luck, or patience to amass a small fortune in Dark Market Currency prior to a given match. Everyone having a super power doesn't affect the flow of the action all that much and might give those with the free loadout enough of an edge to survive. Use Hazard Zone for your games-as-service nonsense and quarterly season passes or whatever greed-motivated agenda you had planned, but restore conquest and the other modes as true Battlefield experiences.
