Lower GPU temperature, worst performance.

I have rtx3070ti with i5-12400, 2560x1440-170hz display. I have the settings all on low except for NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency on Enabled+BOOST. Until the last month I would max out at 82c on the GPU from the moment I get in the game and I would get a pretty smooth experience at a minimum of 160fps. The 82c is expected as the auto settings for performance on my GeForce Experience is set to max out at 83c. In the last month after one of the updates (BF's or maybe the GPU drivers?)I noticed the temp stopping at around 72c but I would occasionally get some frame-drop only for a second and then it goes back to around 150 and sometimes lower 100, depending on the location. Anyone else had it happened to him? The game settings are the same. Could it be on the GPU settings that changed from some driver update? I don't touch the settings on the GeForce Experience as I don't know the technical and didn't want to overclock randomly. Would appreciate any advice.

  • @Groyzame I’ve noticed my GPU is only drawing about 79% power and running at 55C. Used to be 65C before last patch. It’s a 3060ti overclocked to 2025 MHz (from 1960) and 14402 MHz (from 14002). Fans are on auto at 63%. In some ways I shouldn’t complain about it running cooler, but the game feels way more choppy since S7 dropped. I’m not the only one who’s noticed either.
