It takes 4 seconds to blow up your tank with C5. 1 second for each distribution of the explosive (this presumes they are already in range of you. If they arent, add the time they have to run up to you) and 1 second to push a button. I suggest exiting your vehicle when you see the animation of the throw and mowing them down with your gun. Additionally, tanks move faster then infantry. It sounds like your stationary for him to get 3 C5 on your vehicle.
Youre a sitting duck just sitting there dude. Instead of asking DICE to make it easier, get better at piloting.
Additionally, the only reason an infantry is going to charge you is to do two things.
