@FyrirArtur So you’re saying they should nerf the thing that makes him a specialist? He’s working as intended. They keep nerfing all the specialist items. Boris is now useless. Paik is less useful. The recon dude with the drone is garbage. If you just hate specialists that’s fine, I get it. Call for individual nerfs of the very thing that makes them a specialist is just inane. They’ll keep nerfing and eventually the specialists will just be another skin. 2042 is a hero shooter, as the devs intended.
@ATFGunrNo what he's saying is make his grappling hook longer cooldown time. And yes I do agree Mackay is broken as hell. He can move like "neo" from the matrix.
He moves faster than all specialists, just a bit too fast IMO. his ADS is crazy fast. However I know how to counter him, if he moves right you aim a lil bit to the left left cuz thats where he goes next so you don't track him. Very annoying but all the specialist has a counter :-)
On the new Stranded map I won't even get into that I just be watching the high container areas.
Stafing Mackays drive me nuts, especially when i'm using semi auto or burst weapons
- @CarreraLuu The OP said he should be removed entirely or toned down, he said nothing about the increasing a cool down as you suggested. I stand by my original response to his post. If you’ve figured out a counter to him, that’s great, and reinforces my position that nerfing all of the specialists into oblivion isn’t the answer. I’m not a fan of specialists at all, I’m a long term BF series player and saw nothing wrong with the class system that we have had for 20 years. They tried something new, it was awful and poorly executed. Doesn’t change the fact that the game as is has hero shooter overtones and specialists in the game. Nerfing them won’t make it a better game, and won’t make it a Battlefield game.
