@cso7777 While I can agree that these two specialists add to the randomness. I still get randomly killed by camping land vehicles and helicopters more than either of them.
Also every player has the option to use these specialists to counter if they choose. Everyone does not have access to land vehicles and helicopters at once.
From my time playing BF2042 I do not see either of these specialists being used an exorbitantly. Also there are areas on the maps that don't give ether a height advantage.
I've talked about the benefits of having either in a squad when attacking earlier in the topic.

@Skill4ReelI think MacKay is one of the most used specialists and has been since launch.
The newer maps with CQC showcases his strength even more now.
