Great change. This passive is the single most cancer thing in BF2042. Spamming ADAD requires no skill, but countering this with the good aim is borderline impossible in a 1v1. I would even prefer for it to be replaced with something like the ability to climb higher ledges, or faster movement speed when sprinting, but not ADAD spam.

- @RaginSam Not really. Trying to hit macay during ADAD spam is quite literally impossible.
Same goes for CoD sliding and slide canceling. You sprint - slide - press jump and you come in flying at mach 1 around the corner and kill anyone unlucky enough to be waiting for you theremeh, i'm ok with it. only time i use mackay is when someone is hiding ontop of something and they kill me (sometimes it's just if they shoot at me). i make it a point to remove them from their perch

Anything that allows someone to rapidly displace their hitbox in a game with bullet travel time and various types of latency is absolutely giving a significant advantage to those who know how to use it.
I will admit that such shenanigans make the gameplay more flashy and varied. But there are not enough penalties to the recoil control and spread to offset the benefits of such actions. Because of that everyone who wants to play seriously has to learn to do these things or be at a disadvantage.
I am also ADADADing in response to the meta but the wildlife photography enthusiast in me is complaining that nobody can take a steady aim while moving like that with a DSLR camera, even more so with a gun that recoils.
ADADADing is one thing, but sliding is...just breaking things. It makes one move so fast that one may be shooting an afterimage that is lagging behind the actual hitbox of the target.
