@9mgebypzbiszNo, this invalidates the stealth mode. It's usefulness is severely limited in stealth mode. A pilot flying around only in stealth isn't doing much to change the match.
Yes. It becomes less effective while in stealth. But it's not completely ineffective and the bombs can still do massive damage to ground. However it becomes basically impossible for ground to counter it, while it's stealth. That is the definition of imbalanced. It's simply too strong. Stealth, insane speed, flares to avoid damage. All while still being able to dish out damage to ground forces while they can only watch and hope air can catch it.
You can't just stay in stealth mode you'll get chewed up by another air vehicle

Perhaps a compromise would be to either:
1) Increase lock-on time when targeting a heli in stealth mode
2) Remove the persistent lock feature. If you lose LoS with the SOFLAM the lock breaks immediately- no more 5sec grace period. Missiles fired with a lock assist still track even if SOFLAM lock breaks while in flight.
Also, allow Lis's launcher to benefit from the SOFLAM. Lis's introduction was a big nerf for the SOFLAM. Before 100% of launchers could benefit. Now only 66% of launchers benefit. SOFLAM users have significantly fewer people to partner up with now.

@DigitalHypeIn stealth mode the heli is completely defensess against other air vehicles without a gunner and at a huge disadvantage even with one.

How does that help breakthrough defenders?- Psubond3 years agoLegend
i think the stealth helo should have to choose between flares or stealth in loadout

Yeah I like that.
A laser-designator should work irregardless if in stealth mode or not, though.
- spudbug3 years agoSeasoned Ace@DigitalHype that's not a problem with the heli that's a problem with the game mode. Defenders should have the same vehicles as attackers.
