@9mgebypzbisz That is a pretty good idea.
SOFLAM needs a buff. No one uses solar on consoles because they cannot type effectively to communicate with the whole team. They sacrifice play time.
The SOFLAM player sacrifice kills and has to play from a distance, sacrificing flag captures. He/she will not risk a flag capture without a C5, recoiless rockets, or even a beacon.
After sacrificing all that, he is not rewarded for kills, and spotting just got nerfed.
The scoreboard does not reward these actions either, so resupply, heal, and soflaming does not compare to kill, assist kill, flag cap and reviving.
That means snipers will bring beacons and rockets (AA or recoiless) with them. SOFLAM usage must be very low even for snipers.
So painting targets for a teammate still won't compare to a Rao hacking and using an AA rockets.
In conclusion:
- Spot assist (vs soldiers) should be like in v1.1. It must reward an assist kill as an assist. If too powerful, soldier spot duration may be shorter.
- Vehicle painting should give an assist kill.
- SOFLAM should spot stealth helicopters (helis can still hide, flare, so no imbalance in comparison to a nightbird or attack helicopter.
Ideally it should be the scoreboard that should be reviewed and reflect XP and not objective points, to reward ammo, heal, and spotting a bit better. Then apply vehicle paint assist kill and ability to spot stealth helicopters.

I play on PS5 and have no issue using the text chat to communicate. I have no issue playing Rao and using a Soflam. You actually get a bunch of points and can easily be near the top of the scoreboard. The majority of the player base that plays this game refuses to adjust their play style to deal with an enemy team that's competent in vehicles.
