Map suggestion 2.0 - Late game release, [after a year of release]
The suggestion I made to battlefield is below (direct messages battlefield on Twitter):
Hello,
If battlefield 2042 is going to make more maps in the future after release, I was thinking, and I've talked to a lot of people that also think the same, that if battlefield is going to receive more maps in the future. There should be a map of Australia, it suits the theme well, since a lot of the maps are in small countries so Australia is one that could be used
The location would be nice to be at Sydney or Perth, Mainly Perth since you can have a naval assault map at the Swan River, this can be done in breakthrough or conquest, there is a defending team, and an attacking team, the attacking team has landing craft, and amphibious tanks to land on the beach, and you have 4-5 sectors of 2 control points for breakthrough, or 4 control points per sector for conquest.
It would suit the game really well as well, the map would be big, since the attacking team is going down through a large river, and attacking a big city that you could make it look like hourglass with lights and such, it would be a nice map as well to add since there haven't been many games with an Australian map, and battlefield to be the first large scale game to make this would be very cool, and I know a lot of people who would love it aswell. The map can have many areas to it, like the city, skyscrapers, train stations, bus stations (the hub of buses) and large highways the storm would work well in the city although it would now have to be called a cyclone and be turning the other way since that's how it works btw.
but I think it would be a massive and huge step in the right direction of diversity in your game with many different areas and combat circumstances in the game
Thanks!
sincerely,
Positiveeeeee,
what do you guys think? I think it would be a good location and I live in Aus so that would be amazing!
also, is there a large game that even has a Australia map? (expect R6 coz i know they have 1)
