Maps in 2042 vs V
Hey.
I heard some huhu that early 2022 starts season one and has new map. Map designers really need to take stuff together and at least have a look at previous titles. 2042 should be update with detail. Adds quality and cover.

Oh dear, that's quite painful to watch :O
Compared to V, there's no real vibe or detail to buildings... Sure, the skyscraper looks minimalistic but well, not fun environments to play in ☹️
Yes, the difference is huge. Someone really put some hard work in V map design. Not saying all are topnotch but at least most of them are detailed.

- @Man_iLoveFishing I likes the BFV maps too and really enjoyed the 4 pacific maps.
@Man_iLoveFishingI think they aren't as detailed because of the 128 player count. BFV is has half the player count and was consistently light on vehicles compared to this game and BF4.
This is the tradeoff people haven't realized unless you've played games like MAG or Planetside 2 or some other MMO. There's a reason MMOs don't show up with top shelf AAA quality graphics like we are used to in Frostbite. The player count creates too much of a processing load. So yeah, BF2042 details aren't there because now the game has to process double the amount of potential explosions, bullets, chaos, etc.Yep.
No immersion.
Little destruction.
Poor flow.
No cover.
The hastily-designed and incomplete maps are killing gameplay.
