Maps need Fixed Weapon Emplacements - What made 1942 Great
Right now the game feels like a one way fight.
A single helicopter \ tank can take on 4 - 5 infantry and not have a scratch.
While there will be comments like Bring AA ( The most useless item in BF Series - takes 5s to lock on and a single tree can break LoS and reset timer ) while AT has a different problem the amount of hits a tank can take and reload time - makes a single AT in most situations lose. After the first missile the Tank will know exactly where you are and most likely will kill you or run away.
A very reasonable Compromise is Fixed Emplacements which can be made by Engineers and Repaired by Engineers or anyone with a Tool in their kit. But if the enemy force made the Fixed Emplacement - it will always have to be "Repaired" to work for the opposing team.
This Will Give 2 Huge Positive Changes to the game.
1. Infantry can finally hold Capture points and repel single vehicles
2. Vehicle Transports become more meaningful - as Vehicles will now be pushed back to where they belong which is controlling open areas - making transport vehicles far more meaningful to move troops around safely.
BF1942 - was one of the best Battlefields for this reason.
The Balance between Soldier and Vehicle never felt like a massive divide.
Fixed Weapon Emplacements around the map allowed infantry to simply jump on and repel a vehicle.
So it didn't feel like a one sided massacre.
