Maps
Are we getting any more maps? or is this game finished now from a development point of view?
And, just out of curiosity, does anyone know why this game has so few maps compared to other BF games? Was it because it flopped at release?

- @80uwjx4m1chc I know for certain were getting a "classic" map form bf4 in season 5 and I'm almost positive it will be Zavod 311 🤬. Game has so few maps cause of it's rushed development and early release and instead of making new map and more of them, they've been wasting all this time doing "map reworks" to the launch maps then expecting praise. They claim the reason why we only get ONE NEW MAP every 12-14 weeks is that they're giving us quality over quantity (even tho these maps are very mediocre themselves).

What hints did they give that makes you think it will be Zavod 311. - @SCUBASTEVE120 Haha quality. That's a good one. So adding sandbags and storage containers all over the place and occasionally a tornado is considered quality these days. Seems like we are devolving at this point. BF2/3/4 maps were better quality than any 2042 maps.
- @RayD_O1 The pictures hint at it in a way. Then it said it armaments factory with railroad network. Zavod 311 was a tank factory/graveyard with railroad tracks running along and through it.
- @NazT55 😃 I know right. I mean don't get me wrong exposure, stranded, and spearhead are good but not wow like the first time I played bf3 or bf4s siege of Shanghai and operation locker.
- @sk1lld this particular dev update gave it away to me for sure at the bottom of the page. If you can believe it I guessed zavod 311 with the first image dropped and they used the term overgrown bf4 map.

This map also had a blackout night version and with new thermals they'd do justice in that version which in bf4 was our only true night map. They called the map a "fan fav" let's be honest the fan favorite was not zavod 311 by any means. This was the community test environment map if you were apart that a the test and final map for the night maps. Also night map siege of Shanghai was tested but never finalized.
