In earlier BF games we had the Premium Pass which guaranteed at least 4 new maps etc  every 3 months.

BF2042 is a Live Service game.

Personally I was a fan of the Premium Pass, I didn't mind paying a bit extra for the extra content as it kept the game fresh and and meant the game had more longevity.

Zavod was fun but it wasnt the best. I really thought we might be getting Siege.
