Donno, all I can say is the VCAR is taking forever to T1 lol Once it's done all I have left is sidearms and utility.
I asked on Reddit too and it appears I’m not alone.

Yes, this is a thing.

- @Cipax Not sure how your vcar is set up but I find running it close range with an iron sight or red dot on breakthrough to get a decent amount of kills. I thought it was going to be the worst gun in the game bc it looks like it fits nowhere and has no specialty but it kind of wrecks with TTK close range. Pretty fun to use sometimes
- @Corvus8gaming I'm using it close to mid range, at mastery 35 atm.
At some point everything that was not already at T5 medal level got reset for me, all of it for some reason. Anything that was T5 or higher kept the correct numbers. And this happened on Xbox Series X, yet I don't get complete vehicle setting resets every time I switch form AOW to Portal modes, so that is good news and worth the loss of leveling vehicles, guns, gadgets, characters, and etc...
I'm guessing Dice had to make such gigantic changes due to near tech bankruptcy at launch, some things simply got reset forever under certain circumstances on some platforms...and I'm fine with that, as long as the improvements are worth the loss...
