There is one, it was called censorship...
That does not provide context for the conversation unless you wish to talk about censorship in a general sense; in which case this isn't really the place for it.

LMAOO. Dude, you know what I'm talking about, if not then let's say the chat. It was part of our whole experience, at least us on the PC. And not everything that was said 'in the chat' I agreed or would agree with but it was certainly a sight to behold an uncensored, raw chat because it was at least letting you know that you were in a Battlefield game and it was an all out war. Not so much with the cencored chat. Its more like an all out gimmee. With no style.

The chat filter in BFV is ridiculous.
Just today I wanted to ask an old acquaintance of mine I saw on the server: "Is that your actual level or are you smurfing?" The chat filter censored the *ing at the end and showed the question as: "Is that your actual level or are you smurf****"
Lol
- 4 years ago@disintegratorx Ugh... so the chat being filtered is what makes this a kids game now? Bad mouthing, swearing and what not does NOT make a game adult. It just allows people to verbally abuse each other.
Also, you do realize Battlefield 1942 was mostly played by kids, right? It's never been a game for adults only. Just that a lot of veterans have now grown up... at least physically.- Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace
Since when does being able to swear at people make one a 'true fan' and an adult?
