- Anobix3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Knifekilla The nightbird is worse than the stealth in every way, especially after the nerf. There's no reason to choose it (if given a choice). I can't win a 1-on-1 fight against anything with it in the air unless the other pilot is terrible (granted, I'm not a T1/expert pilot like some folks that can still do well with it).

It's not in the best of spots but I don't think it'll take too much to get right

I believe that the only tweak the nightbird needs is to make the guns better at hitting soldiers so that people will use the guns more than the rocket pods
What he ll need , it's a reworking on maniability.
All the wonderful sensation of flying with NB are disappear since the last nerf.
Anyone are satisfying with the flying ?
Please , make a look .

no, we don't need to make it easier to hit infantry. you might like farming infantry or being farmed by helos but i don't and i know i'm not the only one

The cannons have far too much spread and terrible bullet velocity, at least changing those could make it more viable.
ultimately, it’s strength should be its speed, being able to fly in, accurately burst down enemies then get out, but every helicopter has been made so nimble that the stealth helis equal it in that regard, and it’s cannons are accurate and do more damage so yes, the nightbird is a pointless pick at the moment.
First though they have to fix the awful controls bug they introduced in 1.0, the automatic rotation without any player input has made them feel drunk.
