There was virtually no obscuration in the beta, I’m not sure if that was deliberate by the devs to test out other aspects of combat, but that’s a huge component to not only being a medic but moving around the battlefield generally. As mentioned, without obscuration the game lends itself to lazier play styles (camping snipers/tanks), which coupled with proxy sensors, makes it difficult to be strategic/close the gap on the battlefield. There’s no doubt there will be those abilities in the actual game (the recon ribbon mentions EMP and blind specifically) so hopefully they will play a bigger part.
The revive speed could be faster (easy fix for the devs if it’s needed), but unlike BFV you can revive from the prone, that with smoke should make the revives a little more common.
Devs need to do something about the healing pistol, just not effective, too hard to hit teammates to heal, it’s also not immediately obvious if teammates need health, I also was unsure a lot of the time if my darts were landing. Faster darts and more obvious indication that people need health would be a great start.
