Missile re-locking

Flares should be a reliable counter to AA missiles, especially now that there's a possibility that 64 enemies can carry an AA launcher with 3 rockets each. Flares seem to do their job well, they make an incoming missile do that weird circle around you at lightspeed. The only problem is that once your lock-on immunity runs out after a few seconds, that missile can then lightspeed towards you again and cause you to get hit, combine that with another lock-on from the same or another player and helicopters especially have no counter-play for it.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intended feature, so I'm assuming it's intended as part of smart missiles.

    @yaboitrain17 My guess is that it is intentional, so that helicopters can’t do the “circle of death” like in past games. Currently helicopters can’t linger at low altitudes around infantry and must stay high or get in and get out. Not unreasonable IMO.
  • Yeah I think could work, but it even effects jets at full speed sometimes, it might not need removed but tweaked. Maybe check if the vehicle has left the last known position to the missile and if it has the missile can't reacquire the lock.
