@OskooI_007 Not an appropriate comparison IMO as Dice does not need persistent servers for those instances running playlists. They can be also 'on-demand' servers whose instances would be destroyed as soon as nobody is playing on the map that is currently running.
The only difference would be to not kill the instance after every round and MM players into the next server and instead keep them on the same (on demand) server, but the next map in the rotation.
From a cost perspective (regarding server costs), this is exactly the same.
Where cost differs is that if you keep MM, then people will get fed up for that BS and will leave the game and most likely franchise. So, they payed for the game (at least for this installment) but -- after being driven away -- will not eat up any server resources and therefore would not incur any cost. In the short term, this totally makes sense from a business perspective.
