BF3 and BF4 both feel pretty good, but BF5 currently is my favorite for movement and 2042 felt even better. It was one of the least clunky games I’ve played.

@Popa2capsHave you actually played the game yet?Did you read my post? I stated that character animations looked stiff, clunky in the latest Specialists reveal trailer.
I'm asking if DICE would upload a clip of character animations at a higher frame rate so I can better judge it. That's because the latest video seems to be 30 FPS and it could just look stiff, clunky because of the low frame rate.- RaginSam4 years agoSeasoned Ace

Naturally all of this is highly subjective.

@ragnarok013
Well I was talking more or less about this video.
In the beta kept noticing networking issues everywhere.- ragnarok0134 years agoHero+@Popa2caps while I agree about the movement, in this particular video the game breaking aspects of the EMG-X, the targeting grenade, and the bullet reflecting riot shield were my main concerns. ;-)

I think most people find Apex to be one of the most polished movement games out there.- ragnarok0134 years agoHero+

I think most people find Apex to be one of the most polished movement games out there.@0_oRage yes Apex and COD have always felt stiff and clunky to me animation wise - the similarity is probably due to Apex/Titanfall/COD all being COD devs or former COD devs using the same engine and techniques to make games. Games with smooth fluid movement to me are BF3, BF4, BF1, even BF5 and non-BF games such as Doom, Rage 2, Quake Champions, and Halo Infinite. It was apparent to me that DICE was copying Apex's movement in 2042 as the animations to me even looked stiff as I played the 2042 Tech Test and Beta. When I played BF3/4/5 after the Beta the difference felt even more drastic.
