In light of current times... I cannot tell if you are serious or not. LOL
If so, SLI was always supported previously. I suspect NV Link or the like will be the same.
Strill running two 1080ti's, was planning on selling them to upgrade to a 3000 series card but glad I didn't 🙂.
Battlefield V didn't like SLI all that much, you had to mess about with nvidia game profiles a lott. In my experience
SLI has to be supported by the developer in DX12 (Not many games do support it).
As you said, in light of current times, I think SLI support would benefit a lot of people still stuck on older platforms.
A second hand duplicate of your gpu is in many cases a more economical option than paying scalper prices.

Will there be support for SLI in BF2042?
i have 2x1080ti and open beta 2042 didnt work for me, was like a slideshow, soon as i disabled sli then worked fine. so it means no surround display either as latest drivers force sli on for that now.
wont be prepurchasing at all until sli is confirmed :/
- @xAPxRaja That was not my experience. During the beta, my SLI configuration worked out of the box (ie both GPUs were active). However with the production release, this is not the case. I wonder if the beta used an existing Nvidia BF profile - too late to find out now. Interestingly, there is no BF 2042 profile in the Nividia Profile Inspector...
They do not care about PC players.
How hard would it be to create a hotfix profile for sli.
Apparently, no money in it.
Considering they never added official support in bfV I highly doubt they will do anything about this game. I had pretty amazing results with DX11 and custom profile in bfV. Have you tried playing with NVinspector? Enabling CFR mode can do the trick.
@Pennywise359 What does CGR mode do exactly does it allow you to use both cards.?
- @carsono311 Is SLI still a thing?
