My honest review of the game.
I really want to like BF 2042 but it's inconsistent. I'm not trying to bag on this game because I do fairly enjoy it sometimes. I hope everyone that loves and supports the battlefield title will understand and I hope some of you agree to the points I make.
I do wonder what the developers thought were "good ideas". If there were successful integrations from the beloved previous Battlefields like BFBC2, BF3, and BF4, why would the devs give us something that's unpolished with the base game? Every weapon feels like it's inaccurate, bullet velocity is sluggish, bugs are countless, no voice chat, no scoreboards, minimal amount of weapons, and no server browsers for the main game. The only good thing about this game is portal because we can relive the better battlefield games but its still not worth it if there's a lack of progression. It just feels like DICE and EA want to change the game to COD based on the movement and lack of communication. They didn't learn anything from the successes of the previous battlefields and made the game bland. Go back to the Kanban board and start brainstorming ideas that's published by a triple A company. Listen to your customers feedback, be transparent, and give us something that's actually worth the price we pay. I had high hopes for this game but it was just a let down.
