My question is why do people think battlefield 2042 is not as good as the other ones

This has nothing to do with age, anyone can play those games and most. And what do you mean by play like COD, it has some features but it still plays like a battlefield game, the only difference is there is no "classes" even though that is not really true.

My comment was not a criticism of your youth, only a statement that implies you have no experience with the past franchise, therefore, nothing to compare it to. No, you cannot go play BF2 any longer. The servers and ability to host them has been gone for many years now. You asked a question and people are giving you their opinions based on experience, but you seem to just want to argue, like 2042 needs to have a defense.
- @Ahhnuld Yes you can actually play BF2 these days along with 2142. Not as many people but you can still play.
