- @RayD_O1 Yea this week has to be the week. When you say early April and it’s almost middle of the month and no communication at all is very bad. Be professional and tell us what’s happening even if you move it later on the month for the update.

How about just add all the Maps going Back to Bad Company BF1, BF4 BF5, we now know they can do it VIA Portal and add them into the rotation od 2042 !

- @RayD_O1 I agree with you that it would be nice to have them come out and say something. And they did say it’s over a hundred fixes and such. And you have to have some that’s ready to roll out. Why not come out and say what those are or atleast the ones that players would really get excited about.

If they haven't announced anything by Tuesday, then I expect we wont be getting anything this week. And we can expect a carefully worded non apology from PartWelsh, where the real issue is that our expectations are so high we should be thankful Dice haven't just dismissed them out of hand.
But, if anyone at Dice actually cares about 2042, then they must be quite nervous about this patch. They have delayed us for so long, they know we have expectations of this. And deservedly so.
They have pressure not only to give us something that actually meets our expectations, but also to do so in the time frame they set themselves. And the challenge is that, with 2042, they've not been able to do either of those things so far.
I hope I'm totally wrong and in the next few hours patch notes are released which actually surpass expectations.
I really, really, do hope I'm wrong.
But 2042 is getting harder and harder to see as anything but the triumph of hope over reality.,

Yeah I really hope you are wrong too, BF2042 requires a miracle if it is ever going to recover from it's current state.

No new maps until S1, if that even starts in "early summer". The game is absolutely lacking in content given that there's no single player campaign.
early summer, southern hemisphere
