New Cheaters on BF 2042

If it is as you say, that cheat makers didn't make anything, it does not mean that EAC was excellent at catching cheaters, rather that there was not enough customer base for these providers. Sounds sick, but the number of rage hackers can actually be an indication of how well a game is doing, that's how big the cheating market has become.
When the update came, the number of players increased 10-fold and today it is about 4 times. Can't you then expect that the number of visible cheaters will also, at least, rise by the same factor, as the suppliers again see their opportunities to make money?
It is too early to judge EA's AC, as people can only use rage hacker as an indication of how well an AC works. I am convinced that it would have looked the same with EAC, we will never know, but you can look other "prosperous" games and get an indication of what it might have looked like.
- @SpoolaZ I have around 1,000 hours in the game. I have not come by such obvious aimbotters in all that time. Several suspicious players sure, none so blatantly clear. We can argue if Easy or EA anti cheat is better or worse, but this situation has escalated in last few days. Playerbase grew some weeks ago. This of course can draw cheaters from previous games and other games in general, but the fact is that cheaters are back to Battlefield and EA Anti Cheat is doing nothing. These people are going from match to the next. Maybe I'm too optimistic expecting them to catch them and ban within hours but these people are level S100 and higher, they are not brand spanking new accounts.
If EA Anti Cheat is collecting data before kicking them away, kudos. Making noise to let Dice know they got a new problem.- @TheNorthFIN
Discussing whether EAAC or EAC is better is like choosing between plague and cholera, and it shows how effective EAC was, if lvl100 cheaters still can play.
It's too early to say anything about EAAC, I think it will either fall flat, or something will come soon that will upset many. Then I think a lot depends on how the player base looks at the moment, and they choose to act accordingly. Because it's not a sustainable solution either, to knock out large parts of a player community, once a week, no matter how much we would like it.
Unfortunately, that's how it looks today, the cheating is here to stay and these AC's job is to try to balance out the differences, rather than trying to get it clinically clean of dirt.
