I was thinking about maps of battlefield 2042 most people love Operation Metro but most Battlefield has Operation Metro if they are going to add it again for the new battlefield it going to be too much,
but I got an idea, what about if you link Operation Metro with Seine Crossing which is two maps become one map, and battlefield 2042 has 128 players that would be amazing.
I hope DICE sees my post.
We discussed recently the various options to combine one or more of the old classic maps into one larger map now for BF2042, incl also Ops Metro...
Challenge with most of the older maps is that they were not made for 128 players, which would make the gameplay and flow very very different versus when just like 64 players on Ops Metro in BF4. Even just cutting down the player count from 64 and down to like 50 or 40 dramatically changes the entire gameplay on a small CQC map like Ops Metro, where even in the std BF4 model with 64 players on it, it can be argued to be way too many players already, causing massive clusterfxck bottlenecks. 128 players on that would honestly not work at all, so a massive redesign would be needed. Alas, it wouldn't be the Metro map anyway then, as most players knows it from BF3 or BF4. One of the forum posters also proposed then to maybe double-deck two Ops Metro maps on top of each other, and then add a few alternative passage ways between the two floor layers...
That could potentially work out.
Because just adding one linear 64 player map in extension to another tight linear 64 player map will not work, if the goal is to create a positive 128-player map experience with a good dynamic flow and options for both sides to break through enemy lines etc.
