@Ingeniekey I don’t mind the wait now but i guess most people complain now because they are getting a game a year after paying for it.
The difference is most of the development team has moved onto new projects after BF2042 launched. It's not like the full development team is still working on BF2042, which means changes to the game are going to be extra slow.
If I had to guess, probably less than 20% of DICE's development resources are going into fixing BF2042 and 80% are working on the next title coming out in 2023.
It probably also means less Season 1 content now because DICE is spending resources on fixing the game instead of making new content.
