New locked classes ruined the game
BF2042 was really fun with unlocked classes I could play as an assault with a medic kit and an anti tank rocket - it was fun these locked classes in my opinion make the game boring and dull and jus...

Huh, you just contradicted yourself. Before Specialists players could NOT do anything they wanted.
2042 was not successful which is why they returned to the new hybrid class system.
Judging by the Steam no., there were 3 times as many players playing the game with the introduction of a new map & new weapons in Season 3 rather than the last update with the "new class system".
That makes me believe the BF 2042 loyal fan base preffers new content (maps, weapons, QoL improvements) over bringing back outdated legacy features like class system.
Or perhaps you are comparing apples and oranges.
Content is what brings people but the "legacy features" are there to help them stay once they come.
Currently many people are probably done getting their battlepass to 100 and are taking a break until season 4
I would give it until season 4 comes for the effects of 3.2 to show
BF2042 is still on a journey to get where it should had launched at in terms of features and gamlpay

its a cool game handle
Battlefield would KICK THE CRAP out of COD or any other game and its hay day would not be in the past
If EA stopped making such bad decisions...
People would be throwing their money at EA, if only they listened to their customers, instead of their shareholders..

The maps are crap - they are hard to navigate, they are limited in scope and they do not match battlefield, they match cod
EA has said "oh it looks pretty and thats all what people want" and that is wrong - i have seen crap games with poor graphics

Its all about the GAME PLAY...good graphics are nice but they are not the core of the game......the core of the game IS THE GAME
also i wish EA would stop putting up crappy "fairy tale" single player mode, real battlefield players are multiplayers....
if you want single player games, go play cod...

im apart of the sub class of battlefield players that listen to "cotton eye joe" while playing, when im not team working that is =)
in my opinion - bf2042 is absolutely beautiful for the eyes - but its broken - see list of broken or missing stuff on previous post (page 3 i think)

I do not even have to look into the list to agree.
The game was released too soon and with the wrong design goals. So all its lifetime is going to be a redemption arc in order to keep the franchise alive
BF4 was also similar in being released too soon, but it (mostly) had the correct base framework from release- Iv also ran into other players with a "scuba Steve" Xbox live gamertag and PSN ID. Iv been using it 2010 or so on both console PS and Xbox. Lol I listen to all genres except country music 🤮
