New locked classes ruined the game
BF2042 was really fun with unlocked classes I could play as an assault with a medic kit and an anti tank rocket - it was fun these locked classes in my opinion make the game boring and dull and jus...

Huh, you just contradicted yourself. Before Specialists players could NOT do anything they wanted.
2042 was not successful which is why they returned to the new hybrid class system.
Judging by the Steam no., there were 3 times as many players playing the game with the introduction of a new map & new weapons in Season 3 rather than the last update with the "new class system".
That makes me believe the BF 2042 loyal fan base preffers new content (maps, weapons, QoL improvements) over bringing back outdated legacy features like class system.
@VME23 The 30k peak was because of the free promotions. Had very little to do with the new map.
Season 1 and 2 release both peaked at around 16k.

the reason why bf4 had a good base framework, was because it was basically bf3 with new content and a new title name...SCUBASTEVE120
as a person who is a member of the pc master race, i must now look down upon you, as you are a self confessed xbox and ps member you are beneath my level as a gamer...lol
take off the training wheels and get a pc..

thats the word "manage" - "manage squad", "manage team", etc those features are missing from the game

yes my wallet was reluctant to open this time, except that an old friend brought bf for himself and invited me, other then that i would not own the gameand i brought it on special for half price, even then the game did not work for over a year...
