@No1StingerUserUKI hope mortars are missing from the game just like in BFV.
At least if any kind of minimap spotting is present. Mortars in BF4 was pretty awful on some maps. People camping with a mortar and firing at red dots on the minimap was just stupid.
Auto-lock-on infantry sounds like the worst possible idea...
These kind of weapons doesn't really help new players, they just frustrate them even more (more random deaths).
And new players will never learn to play the game properly, if they just operate some kind of automatic killing machine.
I don't want lock ons in any capacity. I know there will be but I hope it is minimal and that lock ons won't be the primary means of taking down aircraft.

I would much prefer AA systems (and anti ground vehicle systems) that require direct player agency. Where the player is wholly responsible for the damage dealt to the enemy and the player is wholly responsible for avoiding taking hits. AA guns, lasers, things that require consistent aiming from the player.
