What is your own opinion though?
- VOLBANKER_PC3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Straatford87 I stayed up all night playing Flashpoint Conquest! Itâs so much fun đ
The new specialist is ok, however I like playing Medic so I went back to Falck after a while. 130 more revives or something like that and I will have T1 in Defibrilator! - VGC_Groover3 years agoNew Traveler@Straatford87 Itâs great to have another map to play, but after a couple of rounds we went back to regular conquest.
Too unpredictable- shot from pretty much every angle except when in the furthest capture points near perm spawn.
Vehicles camping on the hills almost immune from any counters.
Attack helicopters having an absolute field day where the infantry converge at C/D/E. In our final game the attack pilot went 71:1 k:d, which points at being a bit OP doesnât it?
Some interesting ideas, but generally a step backwards after stranded and spearhead.- InsidiuZ3 years agoNew Hotshot@VGC_Groover @Straatford87 Don't bother the Prime players (Pilots) just forget about them and see how long you can stand being farmed, if you think they are OP you are exposed to the engineers getting another nerf, it doesn't make sense what I just said, but that's how it works.
Currently if a pilot is half decent they are able to stay in the sky the whole game, with the Lis nerf there are no more obstacles for them, they have a free hand to farm as much as they want.
Get used to it because this is the game that DICE wants, they want a game where vehicles are 20 steps above the rest.- bitebullet21423 years agoRising Adventurer
Lis is not the only one that can deal with heli. You have R5, Javelin, Rao, Soflam, Dart, AA. If you have a team equipped with a few more of those, the heli won't be that much a problem. Blaming Lis nerf is just lazy because the root cause is there ain't team-play.
But such team-play is being tone-downed after the class rework. You see less engieers, less Rao, even less Soflam. People only revive because it is in the weekly mission. That's just my experience that I got killed by vehicle a lot more than before. DICE should have more exact data on it. Yes, I dislike the class rework.

Central spawn points require a 720 presence.

It's worse since the Lis Nerf

Not OP to DICE. The changes were to "ease up on the vehicle experience". Apparently, the pilot psyche cannot handle more then 1 death a game.

@Straatford87I think it plays horrible with 128 player Conquest.
thereâs too many random encounters causing me to die by being shot in the back from any advantage point on the map from extreme distances away, also players are really hard to see on this map. It has bad flow.
I seriously believe that the 128 player game mode was and is not a good idea.
32v32 gives room to breathe and get more tactical.- Anarchiesx3 years agoSeasoned Veteran@OldSkoolzFinest Not my experience at all. 128p Conquest plays great imo. Use cover and don't run aimlessly out in the open and you won't get sniped from "extreme distances".
- 3 years ago@Anarchiesx Aimlessly đ
You know what they say about people who assumeâĻâĻâĻ.
This isnât my first BF game nor my first Shooter for that matter. I play Halo, , Destiny BF and use to Play COD religiously. And Iâm above average in all.

@Straatford87 From things I've heard, not played it yet personally.
- You get shot at from Every angle. Theres no clear paths to traverse.
- Everyone plays at the center of the map, no one goes to the other objectives in CQ
- Underground tunnel is rarely used.
-CQ needs to be limited to 64 players, 128 is way too much.
- Attackers always win on Breakthrough.
Not the worst map in the game but weakest of the Seasons maps.

"- You get shot at from Every angle. Theres no clear paths to traverse." That description basically applies on all maps, specially with 128p conquest maps.
It will get better once players get to know the map more, where to look and where to hide. Right now, the campers on hills are the one that are most annoying. As soon as they are cleared, usually it quiets down.

I literally can't seem to see a thing on this map playing on PC. Looking up to the lit areas of the mountains from down below is even worse. Some area's are even worse than others depending on the angle you look at it. It seems to have this weird bright shine to it and anybody up there just disappears. I literally got shot from a guy right in front of me. I couldn't see him or even his bullets. The only point I saw him was when I died and it zoomed in on him. My game brightness has been at 85% since release without an issue. I even lowered the brightness down to 55% and still can't see people. It's hard to see people in shadows too, so when I turn the brightness down to try and see better in the hills the people in the shadows are invisible now. Glad to see I'm not the only one that can't see crap. I actually was thinking my eyes got bad super quick. đ
I think the amount of helis and tanks on this map should be very limited. Even better if they were removed, but that could be just me. Everytime I died it was a from a tank just waiting for me to spawn out in the open with no cover. It's nothing but a death trap.

Played one round, won't play another round. For me, this map is even worse than hourglass.
It brings nothing original, just a few random buildings and empty hills in between. Has the same issues as most maps in BF2042 aka "no cover". Tanks and snipers are camping everywhere. Could give a 2/10, but that would be already too much.
- guruizzy3 years agoSeasoned Newcomer
On Breakthrough I am about to quit playing defender altogether. The map is unbalanced in favor of the attacking team. With the Lis nerf and the new scrambling device its almost impossible to kill the tanks on the hills.
- Ti4_S4ndY3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot@Straatford87 The map is very nice but I think the hills could be restricted area. It would be a great way to reduce the campers that lock their weapons on deploying points, wich ussually are on wide open areas, with no cover at all.

At present, it is still a 128-player map, so the experience of playing in low FPS.
I hate the hills on this map!!!
I have been unable to feel the characteristics of each capture point, and have been killed by the enemies on the hill.
You try to capture the stronghold and are killed by the enemies on the hill.
You try to flank the enemy and get killed by the enemy on the hill.
You try to kill an enemy on the hill ahead, and get killed by an enemy on another hill.
Just spawned from the capture point and was killed by the enemies on the hill. The map feel is so impressive, I forgot I was playing below 60FPS.

The map is fine. The problem is the players. They're worse than usual. People play this game like they're playing Warzone. Total disregard for teamplay, won't attack objectives. Won't attack vehicles. Lost multiple games by a THOUSAND points, which has never happened before. The closest, most balanced match I've played was one with majority bots on the teams. Teams are being stacked up with one clueless one, and one that might as well be a giant clan for how well they seem to gel together. Throw in a handful of cheaters, including some helicopter insta-spawners who are immune to Stinger lock, and it becomes a waste of time to play.
Not to mention teams (usually mine) just sitting on the hills between flags doing nothing useful.

Ok here my feedback to the map.
At first sight, I loved the map, it looked similar to Firestorm, one of my all time favorites.
The objectived looked promising, many indoor areas... and then I played it.
I don't say it is a bad map, but it is not a good map either. The areas between the objectives is a camper and sniper paradise and the visbility is not very good, to get rid of them.
The excavation site it to vertical for me (I already hated this element at BF4...!) and too open. To get the point, you are on an open area, you can be shot from below, above and any direction. It has nothing to do with challange, it is just absurd!
The other points are quite fun but often everything is too narow and winding, again very good for campers and not very easy to see, too crowded, too many things on screen, to see the enemy. I like close combat, but somehow it just doesn't work for me. I'm feeling unwell there. And I think this is not only, me... otherwise, more people would try to go to objectives and less camp on the hills.
And then, maybe the map is just too small for 128 players... or something.
Also something on the map is forcing very uneven teams, somehow I see here very often differences of 500 to 1000 points, when the game ends... so it is often the case, that one side is really dominating the other.
I don't get warm with the map, maybe it is also because of the amount of too strong vehicles, what is taking the fun out of the map (game?). Sorry DICE, I think this map will be no success. And I really tried to like the map âšī¸
- 3 years ago@Captain_Tachi Great points. I've been feeling mostly the same. I think its the 128 player count. You'd probably still have campers on the hills with 64 players, but not as enough to make it such a nightmare to attack the points.

@Straatford87That the RU uncap zone is too large and so too many snipers and AA tanks are hiding there.
In general I would say that there is too much asymmetry in the layout

I want to share my humble opinion about this map. It will be more fun than all the previous maps due to the fact that for the infantry they FINALLY made a lot of shelters, buildings and other nooks and crannies where you can hide from annoying helicopters. Hence the minus. The tall buildings on C1 just don't make it possible to destroy the helicopter from the ground, it hides in the buildings themselves, killing everything that moves along the way. The main battles take place between points C1 and E1.
Finally, you can properly use the Javelin in open areas where vehicles cannot fire from safe cover. The projectile explosion animation is amazing.
- 3 years ago@Straatford87 Well for what it's worth here's my opinion after spending several hours playing 128 conquest.
Even though on first appearances it looked kind of bland, the sheer amount of detailed areas is a major achievement and in that sense it reminds me of a mix between Noshahr, Caspian and Firestorm.
The map designers have created a lot of cover for both infantry and vehicles with the valleys, hills, mountains and structures.
Plenty of flanking can be had by using the north and south flank routes to back cap flags or launch surprise attacks to the rear of the enemy frontlines facing eachother over C, D and E.
I know I like the map because I'm itching to fire up the Xbox and get back on again on this fine Sunday morning in beautiful Sydney đ - 3 years ago
First , thank for the new map.
But, I suggest that map makers should unblock the sealed part of the D1 underground passage and connect it to F1 (it would be better if it can be connected to the basement of F1). This will make this new map more interesting. I believe players like to play in caves or play in the tunnel.
Thank you
