New Melee Takedowns?

Takedowns will now be in 3rd person (it's flashy and can sell skins). Jack's buddy snuck up on the enemy so I don't believe there was any counter - I don't know if counters are going to make a return.
As someone with 10k+ melee kills, I'd hate to see a return of the old spam counter -- at least give 1 or both players a sequence of prompts to quickly input with the winner getting the kill.
There shouldn't be any melee counter, if someone gets knifed they weren't paying attention and deserve to have their tags taken.
Right with you there buddy. I've also past the 10k take downs I'd hate to see the return of the old counter spam. I'd also like there to be an option to turn off melee animations. I hated getting stuck in a 5 second plus animation whenever someone was lying on their back.
- @TTZ_Dipsy BFBC1 gave you a glowing knife after so many kills, I remember knife fights with in that game were hilarious.
Ive never really worked out why you would want an extended animation after you have killed someone where you no longer have control of your soldier? You've got to be vulnerable right?
