This game is not call of duty. It has always had ground vehicles and now for some reason you choose a dumb idea to limit them more in the latest patch. I have never had a problem defending against ground vehicles because you have always given the foot soldiers the proper weapons to do so. Now whomever you left in charge of this game decided if we make it like cod maybe we can draw players from there. You are still allowing air superiority, weapon balancing is off. Sub machine guns can take you down from a football field plus away and the same as pistols. This game used to require you to develop skill to advance, but now you want to make it easier for people who can not think outside the box to get the job done. Stop trying to create a new game or change it to a different franchise. I also have a great idea for you getting quality feedback. Have a verified way of having adults giving you feedback instead of children that post on here. Adults in the US are 18yrs old and over. Maybe if you listen to the correct people you can save this franchise.

And by ground vehicles, I mean those able to have a significant impact on a battle or skirmish. When you have AA, Tank, and Bolte in same category and only 2 of them can be active and then look back to BF4 where some maps could have 4-5 tanks per side (Conquest Large), it's clear to me current devs want everyone to "run-n-gun." As you said, "CoD". I keep going back to BF4 because I had an absolute blast playing it. More so than BF1 or BFV.Air is a disaster. No effective way to counter it. The AA missile is not very useful. I can practically go make an espresso while I wait for that f'ing thing to lock on, and I have to be a sitting duck while waiting. The homing nades are slow and do very little damage. On some maps, I used to use the Bolte with smart rockets (and no countermeasures) to scare off AA from some objectives but that's not really an option anymore after the last patch. Very frustrating.

Honestly I haven't noticed any less vehicles with 4.0/4.1 (Conquest 64p).The only noticable difference is more variety of vehicles on the battlefield.

I can’t get over the fact, that you can now only have 2 tanks at a time just because DICE had no idea what to do with the bolte! In my opinion they should have just got rid of the bolte and kept the number of armoured options relative to the size of different maps like previous Battlefields. I played today and thought I had accidentally joined an infantry conquest server but it was an AOW match. It feels like we are getting even further away from what battlefield was all about in my opinion.

Less vehicles the better. This is the best thing in the patch. Maybe you don’t realize it infantry players DO NOT want to spend there whole round chasing gotdam vehicles

Totally agree with you. I posted this issue when patch 4.0 came out and now since 4.1 they made it so much worse for vehicle gameplay! This doesn't feel like the AOW experience that this game advertised it to be. And I'm tired of repeating myself. They already have infantry only conquest in portal why are they ruining the combined arms aspect of AOW conquest as well...? 2 armored vehicle slots for 128 players and bigger maps is a complete joke. These days im only playing flash back conquest where theres more vehicles and actually feels like a battlefield game. The problem is they listened to the wrong crowd! The issue wasnt an overwhelming amount of vehicles, it was vehicle type balance and lack of cover on maps. I am going to post a fresh topic on this since i was blocked for a week for venting my anger

we are referring to 128 conquest. Also I didn't buy the game to play 64 conquest. I bought it for the 128 AOW experience

@AngrySquid270 I believe the decision to move the Bolte into the heavy vehicle category now leads to a greater vehicle diversity on the Battlefield.
The MAV now becomes a viable option 😉

Basically there were too many boltes due to them being at the more than abundant Light category.
People screamed bloody murder when and somehow they also reduced the actual tanks available.
However to be fair now the MAV and the flying transports are actually more available without the tankers and the kill farming pilots taking over the slots.

In all my years in BF games I never disliked responding to vehicle threats.
If anything making an enemy vehicle explode is one of my favorite things.
Preferably with jeep+explosives
