New Railgun is very unbalanced
Why would you ever pick the DXR or any other sniper over this? This sniper has no bullet drop, extremely high velocity, and it can damage vehicles, making the ntw obsolete. Not to mention you can get...

Yep, I do. I'm just speculating based on the videos I've seen, but you're right none of us will actually know until we see it in-game.

It looks like Dice keeps on making some of the hardest to balance decisions regarding game-design. Why make a gun that actually is more or less 3 guns in one?
We will have to wait and see what happens, but this could be another case of overpowered then to be nerfed gun.
But having the gun doing damage to at least the light helis (nightbird, stealth heli) is actually a plus for me. In real life a heli like the nightbird is pretty vulnerable to (at least) high caliber weapons and while the game is not realistic in any way, having more counters to helis is not a bad thing.

This is flat out ridiculous and anyone who's ever sniped knows this is gonna be the only gun people are gonna use to snipe
@NazT55Lis rocket is overpowered indeed. Since S1 launched ground vehicle with no APS is a sitting duck.
