After a few more rounds...and i still dont like it.
One thing that im still missing from 2042 is...that nothing ever feels like "war". It still feels like an arcade shooter. I wish it had that atmosphere BF1 had. It was so grimy and just gritty. Going back to the original 2042 story - i see nothing of it in this new map. Climate Change torn world? Where? Sunny blue skies with a few clouds. It would have been cool to complete destroy all buildings but as i said before - map design and tech seem to regress.
I dunno. I appreciate they still working on this game but even if there are 8 seasons, 2042 will never feel like a real BF game. I mean i still play it but mostly because i suck at every other game and there isn't anything else to play for me at least.

unplayable. The central sections (2 buildings) are the main effort from the devs and the rest just seem a like filler with scattered random cover with no real thought to sight lines etc. I do like the fact there isn't much opportunity for snipers though, I hate them. The 2 buildings are great fun to play around but often end up being really difficult to attack during Breakthrough and sometimes on Conquest. I like the D1 flag area though. It's a small map, no requirement for vehicles really. It's fun because it's new but it'll likely become run of the mill very quickly. Favourite map
