Newbie question - how can I be spotted so quickly??

Is there a lot of cheating mods in this game?  I'm playing on a console and yes, i get there are really good players out there but the ability to spot me in cover, while behind more cover and shoot me through the object i'm behind is beyond frustrating.  Some of the players I get hit by are in a such a ridiculous position that there is no way they are spotting me with the naked eye, or for that matter a drone, etc.  

Just makes me wonder, how it is possible that I can be spotted and shot through an object if there is no cheating going on..  If this is a problem with this game, I'm not even going to bother playing.

    @FrostyNemesiss There are a TON of methods to spot you whenever you are.

    TUGs and Motion Sensors (Recon gadgets) spot anyone in a certain radius regardless of the terrain. You can be behind 3 walls across 2 rooms and still get spotted.

    3D spot from a player or a drone or even a helicopter/jet

    Littlebird and some ground vehicles like MAV and LATV4 have areal spotting ability. It highlights everyone in a decently large area around the vehicle when activated.

    Just a basic 3D stop is ridicilously OP. I've spotted people through grass, bushes and even some cover is there was a tini tiny part of their character was "out of cover". And even though I didn't see anything, 3D spotting did and put a large orange Dorito above them for an easy kill.

    I can spot you with Zain's XM307 from hundred meter away. Even my airburts can't reach, other within vicinity will gunned you down.
