Next battlefield.

I just wish they would release BF2 & 2142 stuff on Portal as those were the last great BF games to me.

So you mean make a Battlefield game, not an attempt at a run and gun, bunny hop, BR shooter?

@Echo6EchoThis is closer to Apex Battlefield than anything else. Someone thought that due to the popularity of Fortnite and Apex Legends, they could hedge their bets on the fence.

Not only did that not work (pulling from two disparate customer groups), it alienated both. Apex players don't care for BF style games and BF players don't care for the Specialists and non-combatesque features. This game serves no one but the developers who thought they were being clever and edgy. We needed less lipstick and eyeliner and more face camo, but seeing who was involved in the creative development for this game, you can see why it ended this way.

There is also nothing leading me to believe that they can get this right after this release. They are so tone-deaf to the community and only listen to a few streamers, who are literally the minority of the player base and don't even pay for the game. 

I was OK with classes and I am OK with the newer specialists, so no strong opinion there either way.

I want the same general things I hope others do from the BF franchise such as large battles, larger battlefields, great graphics, plenty of weapons and a variety of vehicles.

Beyond that I would prefer a continual release of maps.   I play often, maybe not for long stretches, and after continual exposure to the few maps get a little stale.    Maybe they should just add an "S" and make it "BattlefieldS" which have a continual focus on releasing new maps from any location (historical battle or not) and from any era.
