They shouldn't need to have a feedback loop about MM... The problems are so glaringly obvious it would be truly a sad sight if they needed feedback on that...
I hope the next feedback loop starts with "so we're doing away with specialists, what would you guys like to see for classes?"

I totally agree we shouldn't need a feedback loop for MM and Server Browser, however, most of the topics shouldn't need input from the community either. At most, if someone had some cool ideas for custom game modes.
Maybe they just don't know, if they are younger developers, maybe they grew up in an MM world. However, not only does a Server Browser give you some control over how/where/when you play, it also brings the community together.
Just say I was going to play C128, but instead of using MM, I go to the Server Browser and see that a lot of people are playing BT64. I may change my mind and join them instead. A lot of times I would just go to the server with one or two slots open playing a map I want to play.
That is the other thing, MM doesn't allow you to choose the map you want to play on.
Finally, some people, depending on the region and when they play, can't play at all, ever, because of MM. This is borderline criminal.
So adding a SB would be a huge step to bring some people back. I know I would play more with one.

It would indeed be a massive step forward and like you I would also play more.
At the moment I almost have to force myself to play, put off by all the reasons you mention above and by what we have been telling them daily for months now.
BF2042 is in a disgraceful state and bears no resemblance to the previous BF's, it's like a cheap imitation in so many ways.!I'm surprised they still don't have one up. Like...are we gonna be on a monthly cadence?
The continued lack of any urgency from DICE to fix this deeply flawed game continue to astound me. Like, at this rate I'm expecting a new coat of paint by S1, not them fixing any actual problems under the hood with this game.
@edgecrusherO0i really hope they don't wait too long. It is a passive step to collect the data for the next topic. All they have to do is pose a few more design questions for another area of the game that they would like feedback on.
If it is not going to be MM/Server Browser or Squad Management, I assume it is going to be about the Specialists.
If that is the case, I can see a few scenarios.
1. Do nothing
2. Class lock Specialists for gadgets only (11 gadgets - 2 per class, 3 common). I could see them doing something like this. Just restrict some Specialists from equipping specific gadgets.
3. Class lock Specialists for weapons only (have some overlap, each class can have 2 weapon types), wouldn't make much sense, but possible.
4. Class lock Specialists for both weapons and gadgets (11 gadgets - 2 per class, 3 common; have some overlap, each class can have 2 weapon types). This obviously puts the Specialist completely back into their respective classes. This obviously makes the most sense, but I doubt they do it.
1 or 2 seem the most likely. Thoughts?
