@Adamonic
Those 'feedback loops' are NOT designed to capture feedback, but to keep the community busy posting and suggesting improvements here, feeling they could contribute or change the course development is taking. NOTHING will come of it!
As far as the map feedback is concerned, they knew before the first post in the feedback thread what we thought about the game in general and map design in detail. Nothing really 'new' as far as I could see (did not read all posts though) was posted. So, they will provide a summary after as long time has passed before we are getting angry that there is no progress and that will contain no specific information that was not already in the first post that they made when starting the 'loop' and requesting feedback (my prediction, but I am willing to bet on that one).
They already said that the results will be a rework of the existing maps ONE MAP AT A TIME!?. AFER S1 has started.
I don't know what the next topic will be precisely, but I can guarantee it will be the one thing many here will be able and willing to post lots of suggestions and the stuff suggested will certainly be something they will not implement or that takes 'too much time and effort'. Or they pick something where the community is split in half regarding their wishes. so they keep us busy discussing and will still not have to change anything.
Why am I so certain? Most of you have read the proposals (e.g. this one) some of us have posted, giving Dice an easy way to improve the experience for all the remaining players without too much effort. We have asked for (kind of begged for) this to be implemented or at least commented upon. Yet, there was ZERO! reaction from any of the CMs @PartWeIsh @Straatford87
They have read those requests and actively decided to stay silent. They could have ACTUALLY done something and chose to ignore us, while at the same time managing our frustrations by keeping us busy suggesting improvements they know will never be implemented.
There will be a feedback loop for specialists (already confirmed). Do you honestly think they will remove them, even if 90% of us ask them to do that? I would be surprised if they at least (finally) remove the voice lines at the end of round (something 99% of us have asked for ... the remaining 1% is younger than 16 and should not even play the game).
Those are my predictions. I certainly hope I am proven wrong, but I would suggest keeping a bookmark to this post and pull it back out in summer to see if I was right.
