@Metal_Daryl97 I do think that the miniguns need a steeper damage drop off and maybe slightly faster overheat. They need to drop AGM from 2 to 1 missile as well. The rockets seem pretty well balanced right now.
The biggest mistake was moving the Nightbird from Transport to Attack helicopter. What used to be this beautiful little spunky light transport that could serve as a sneaky squad insertion vehicle was turned into lethal death machine, replete with push buttons AA missile dodging (without flares).
The problem with putting it into attack heli slot is you now have to make it commensurate in value to the Attack/Stealth helis. But they even went above and beyond that! They gave it very strong/versatile weaponry, smallest hitbox and insane agility. DICE has to decide what they want it to be. If they want it to continue to have superior survivability, then they need to drop the offensive capabilities accordingly. Conversely, if they want to keep the offense, then they need to get rid of the missile dodging.
My preference is to tone down the offense and get it back to its rightful home: Transport Land. It should be reimagined as a decently armed air transport that can double as an opportunistic skirmisher.

@rainkloud You left out the part that the Nightbird can carry up to two engineers who can repair it while in flight. None of the attack vehicles, including jets, have that ability. On top of that, it can also self-repair if the pilot has the ability unlocked (which is super easy since you rack up so many kills with it)

It's beyond me that the most survivable light air vehicle (tiny hitbox, insane agility and fast acceleration) also gets free repairs (repair tool)
- Shibiwan3 years agoRising Veteran@Metal_Daryl97 There are literally no downsides to the Nightbird
- Man_iLoveFishing3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Shibiwan This doesn't happen often. And if so, it's called teamwork and still can be downed by 1 recoilless.
As for jets, jets would be untouchables if there was no nb, now when they introduce rocket pods for jets? Gl infantry.- 3 years ago@Man_iLoveFishing Isnt that why they are adding more AA to the game, and making the Wildcat more effective?
- Man_iLoveFishing3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Wargame_Enj0yer It already is also for jets. Now it's getting even worse. There isn't even many good jet pilots anyways. I know handful people that can be destructive with it.

@Man_iLoveFishing Jets are definitely not "untouchable". Being effective with a jet pretty much means engaging enemy vehicles and this often requires you to fly at a fairly low altitude and at low speed, which makes your jet vulnerable to a lot of things (wildcats, TORs and recoiless m5/lissile are a bigger threat to a slow jet vs far more maneuverable nightbird with much smaller hitbox)
