no AA in BF2042
sometime AA gun is annoying , i suggest , in BF2042, it just need to increase /boost the anti air weapon dmg or alike gadget, so even a team with weak air units(players), it will balance from missing...

@GVlXxf I do think it needs to be a challenge to bring down the heavier aircrafts, and some way to boost certain characters for the task, like Support class in BFV had slower overheating. I was initially sceptical of the aircrafts OP after the Beta - which is typical of any BF title - but since i have seen videos of helis being taken down with both sniping and grapple hook. Sniping is fine, but grapple hook is a bit silly IMHO, and should be reduced/removed in favor of upping the AP ammo damage.
A full string of LMG AP ammo in a Nightbird makes almost zero damage, and even if it prevents the self healing, it is just not good enough. A full clip of well placed AP LMG ammo should at least be enough to scare off a nightbird, after all it is supposed to be Armour Penetrating.

There will probably be many threads about balance between air and ground as usual. It's not Dice's strongest side.
One of the specialists can have infinite AA missiles so that will mitigate one of hte biggest problems BF4 had with AA.
Gawd I hope the AA is not as anemic as BF5. Fixed AA does not stand a chance against decked out planes which is crazy. The planes in BF5 are so OP I stopped playing maps with planes. Flying circles harvesting kills just destroyed gameplay on many maps.
- @stabbinhobo Yeah AA balance is wonky in BFV, no matter how good you get at AA , you will never stand a chance against high altitude precision bombing in a 1 vs. 1. but the main purpose of stationary AA is to deter aircraft from an area, so to some extent it does its job.
