No Campaign No Buy
Simple as that.
- @tyl0413 They don't necessarily need a campaign. What the Battlefield series needs (again) is OFFLINE BOT SUPPORT.
Simple as that.
With some of the previous investor call content they have shown off publicly, I would not put it past EA DICE to release something later... They have already shown close-up, in-game character animation in a narrative style. Perhaps they might even surprise everyone and release a BFBC3 campaign later on...?
I agree with this,
so much better to focus on the Multiplayer part, and to be honest, Battlefield never made any killer campaigns apart from Bad Company 2.
So I am happy.
Hey @oRallenallen
Really like BF1 and BFV campaigns but other are inexistants or not really impressive. So if they do an excellent multiplayer that's ok for mebecause at start BF have no solo mode.
@MoskolonelYeah, they were okay to get into the game/learn the basics. But not much work was put in them compared to other shooter campaigns. 🙂
100% disagree with OP - no campaign would be good and time and resources spent on the critical multiplayer aspects would be hugely beneficial. I play BF for large scale multiplayer action - I have never once completed the campaign in any BF game. Battle Royale is also a complete waste of resources too, you can see from BFV there was little appetite for it. Make BF great again and concentrate on what is important - multiplayer
I shall miss the days of BF Campaigns where a 90 pound teen age girl choke slammed full grown men through table with one arm and single handily brought down the National Socialists German Worker's Party atomic program all by themself.
