Absolutely agree. The same can be said about slide. It's just weird imo.
@SirBobdkI agree. That's an old-school Halo trick, from back in the day. Watch some of the streamers, these days, and you'll see them slide or jump when they round every corner, get to a door, encounter another player, everywhere. Every 2 seconds. Completely unrealistic.

Or tribes, quake, UT, etc. Bunnyhopping is about as old as the genre.
I mean sliding a bit less so because there can be a bit of weapon control during a slide in reality, but bunny hopping just brings humanity closer to self-extinction.
