No more bunny hopping
Bunny hopping is the single dumbest mechanic in shooters and there is ZERO reason for it to exist in Battlefield. People use bunny hopping because it's effective, but it's only effective because g...

Personally opinion. Bunny hopping or similar mechanics for most of the time is never intended and more of a side effect of how games are.
Players will find a way to find something to give any edge while playing.
As long it never get the swan dive in Battlefield 2, we are grand. :D

True
Strafe jumping (bunny jumping) was a technique in Quake where players could achieve a speed level normally not possible in the game by exploiting a bug in the game’s physics engine.
Then players learned to circle jump which is an action performer at the start of strafe jumping.
Later on it became more or less standard in others games like cod promod and latest Battalion1944.
It was quite funny, but also ridiculous
Bunny jumping today is nothing like what it used to be.
The problem is that hitboxes usually get messed up during these kinds of things and literally have no consequence for playing like a tool. Cowards that use them think they are using skill to dodge bullets but in reality most players don't have a problem aiming at a clown jumping to distort or glitch out their hitboxes. If hitboxes would be consistent it wouldn't be a point of frustration.
There needs to be consequences for doing it. They really need to get back to a limit on sprint/jump meter.
Been playing FPS for 25+ years and there is always weak people that use cheap tactics to make up for lack of actual skill.
